There is a sermon I’ve heard on repeat throughout this year. And no, it’s not actually a religious sermon, though it’s elicited the same sweaty, guilty, nervousness which might be brought on by a fire-and-brimstone Southern Baptist preacher.
The sermon is:
“You need a lead magnet.”
Yes. I know I do.
Earlier this year, I halfheartedly created a free giveaway based on my book PurgaStory: 5 Strategies For Escaping the Hell of Writer’s Block.
But I’d be lying to say it’s been a rip-roaring success.
So since I’ve been wanting to create a new ebook for a while anyway, this is a great way for me to kill 2 birds with one stone. (Sorry, birds, but my mother-in-law is terrified of you and your feathery brethren.)
But I want to make sure whatever I create is going to serve Y-O-U. Which means I want your feedback!
Which topic should I cover in my book next?
I’m running a poll on LinkedIn for the next week, so if you have an account, head over to my poll and vote. Make sure to connect with me while you’re there, if you haven’t already done so.
And if you don’t have LinkedIn, no worries…you can still weigh in here below. While there are some overlapping ideas/concepts between these topics, the focal point is a little bit different for each:
Okay, that last one’s an actual joke, don’t click it. I save all my racy jokes for my spouse.
Also, like I did with the aforementioned book, I’ll also do an audio version of whatever I end up creating.
If you’re a paid subscriber, you get a bonus with this poll…I’ll share the tentative titles of each one below and you can weigh in by messaging me your thoughts.
Did this help you? If so, share this with someone you know via the handy little button below.
And if you want some more practical ideas of how to apply this concept for both fiction and nonfiction, you can subscribe and view below!
